USE YOUR SYMBIAN PHONE AS HOTSPOT.

Hello friends, is mark francis again and today am going to share with you how to use your symbian phone as a hotspot allowing neighboring device to connect and browse using your data. I could remember last two years when mtn introduced mi fi saying you can make use of the device to connect with five other devices but with this tutorial theirs no limited to the number of devices you can share data with. Simple read and carefully follow the steps below.

STEP1

Download this symbian application , install and run. Is a premium version.

STEP2

Make sure you subscribe to a data plan. Now open the application and click on the start button

STEP3

You would get a message asking if you would like to share your internet service with others click yes and select your access point.

STEP4

If you are using a laptop , simple scroll to your tray at the buttom part of your desktop and open network. You would see your mobile device. Connect and browse using your phone as hotspot. You can encrypt your internet connection to prevent intruders from using your internet service.

You can also act as a magician trying to make any object disappear, you pause and hide the object. Resume and wolah the object is gone..

HIDE FOLDER IN NOKIA PHONE WITHOUT A SOFTWARE.

Every one seems to be meticulous of what people see when they view their phone. If you are the type that tends to share your phone with friends and there are some things you don't want them to see you can make use of this trick to hide your files.

STEP1

Open your memory card and create a new folder , name as 'wapbeast.jad'

STEP2

Extract the files you want to hide into the new folder 'wapbeast.jad'

STEP3

Now create a new folder with same name but this time with a extension. I.e 'wapbeast.jar'. You would notice that the 'wapbeast.jad' is hidden and also your data.

STEP4

To view the first folder 'wapbeast.jad' simple rename the second folder to 'wapbeast'

HOW TO TRACK LOST PHONE USING IMEI NUMBER

Imei number i.e the international mobile station identity is a number usually unique to identify GSM, mobile phones as well as Satelite phones. It is usually found printed inside the battery compartment of the phone, but can also be displayed on-screen on most phones by entering *#06# on the dial pad. By dialing this code a 15digit number would be shown to you. I advice you to always jot down the imei number of your phone for security purpose.

I once wrote a tutorial on how to track and protect your symbian phone from theft. This time around am going to share with you how to track your lost phone using your imei number. All you need do is um read this tutorial and carefully follow the steps.

STEPS

1. You need your imei number, like i said earlier on you can get your imei number by dialing *#06#. But since you don't have your phone with you , you can check your phone bill box i.e the phone pack.

2. Write it down in a small shit.

3. Goto your mail box and compose a new email with the following details.

Address:

Phone model:

Make:

Last used No.:

E-mail for communication:

Missed date:

IMEI No. :


4. Send to cop@vsnl.net. If your phone is in use they would trace it out and send you full details of the person using it.

Hello dear is me again bobzy koozy and today am going to teach you how to flash a dead nokia phone with a usb cable and phoenix.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Navifirm ware[DOWNLOAD LINK]
2.Phoenix software [Download Link]
3.A usb cable
4. A Nokia phone
5. Time

NOTE

---

1. Your phone battery should be fully charged.

2.You need to known the exact firmware of the phone you want to flash , cuz phoenix does not check the firmware of the phone thus using a diferent firmware might degrade the phone. That does'nt mean you can't upgrade it back.

3. Just so you don't encounter any problem is adviced that you close any other runing program in your pc.

How to get the right firmware for your phone
Like i said earlier on using a wrong firmware could damage your phone , so am going to take out some time to explain this. Now there are basically two ways to get a good firmware for your phone:


1. Using Navifirmware
2. Downloading it online

Using Navifirmware is the best way to get a good and compatible firmware for your phone. All you need do is download it, install and run... Now you would have to get the product code of your phone. The product code is something like this 0576447 can be found at the back of your phone or by dialing *#0000# for phones that are not dead. Just insert your product code and click ok and it would start the download .

2. Downloading it from a website. Downloading your firmware from a website could be somewhat complicated cuz some of this firmwares are not complete and might in turn damage your phone . So for best results get your firmwares from this site LINK.



HOW TO FLASH A DEAD PHONE

1. Remove battery from phone.

2. Make sure you extract the downloaded firmware to C:/ProgrameFiles/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-XXX'' e.g rm-463,rm-600 e.t.c make sure the firware is in this formate.


3. Run Phoenix and select ''no connection'' as the connection type

4.Now goto your file menu and select open product.


5.A new window will pop-up with somany product code . E.g rm-xxx rem-600 e.t.c just select the one that tallys with your phone . You can get the product code by dialing *#0000# or by looking at the back of your phone



6. Goto the 'flashing menu' and select 'firmware update'

7. Press "..." button on the top-right corner of the window to select the language pack / product code You want to flash on phone.

8. Now select the product code you want to use to flash or upgrade your phone.



9. Tick dead phone flashing


10.Now scroll down and click on ''option'' i.e the option after sw reset. look carefully you would see a line that is ''red '' in color mark and delete. Press ok . Now click on refurbish.


11. A new window will pop up with sets of instructions, follow the instructions carefully.



12. Wait for the flashing to complete


13.Your phone would restart automatically.
